The Eternal Entity (God) Conceptualized by Guru Nanak in a Logo, ੴ, has been published in the above journal as an invited article in December 2021 issue. The same article is being reproduced here in our journal for wider publicity of this important article. This article discusses in detail the Eternal Entity (often called God) as logo, ੴ, which is quite different than the God described in other major religions of the world. The SIKHI (philosophy) of Guru Nanak revolves around this God, ੴ.
Prof Devinder Singh Chahal discusses another important subject, Hukm (ਹੁਕਮ) the Laws of Nature/Universe, explaining that every action and reaction in the Nature and the Universe, and in living beings is going on under certain laws. And nothing can happen out of these laws.
Thereafter, Prof Chahal discusses, Bani of Bhagat Kabir and Guru Nanak. In Sikh literature many theologians have justified similarities of bani of Guru Nanak with that of Bhagat Kabir. If it is so, then they are indicating that there is no originality and uniqueness in the bani of Guru Nanak. Even some writers are saying that Guru Nanak was the follower of Bhagat Kabir. Prof Chahal has proved that Guru Nanak’s philosophy in his bani is original and unique and quite different than that of Bhagat Kabir.
